Maybe I didn't suck...

...as bad as I thought I did. During my Anderson Cooper go-round with Mark "Chicken Soup" Hansen [scroll down for several related posts], that is. I'm doing a CNN taping again tomorrow, at their request. This, on the heels of the L.A. Times piece, which seems to be generating a second wave of media interest in SHAM. The piece was, in fact, the Times' "most-emailed story" for several days post-publication. I'll provide more particulars as I know them.

Also got a very interesting piece of SHAM-spam today--a pitch for a new computer program that promises to help me "achieve almost anything [I] desire." This hints at a burgeoning new channel of self-help delivery: your computer desktop. (Which should come as no great shock, since Deepak Chopra, among others, has been delivering daily affirmations to subscribers' cell phones for some time now. But we shouldn't come down too hard on Chopra, since the Pope's doing it too.) Look for more details on that, too, in the coming days....

Love Smart update: Late today two negative reviews made it onto the Love Smart site. Which means that a run of glowing reviews will magically appear before you can say "rigged and thoroughly deceptive marketing campaign." Don't know about you, but I'm putting my money on "Dr. Marilyn R. Barry of Minneapolis," and maybe "Jane" yet again....
