A cautionary tale that speaks for itself.

Or, perhaps, a modern morality play in five acts...each of them a gunshot.

McNair was involved with "another woman" who was neither his wife nor his primary mistress? McNair was behaving like an NBA player - or possibly the Prime Minister of Italy.

As our buddy Dr. Phil says: "If he'll do it with you; he'll do it to you."

Well, but let's think about that. It's another one of those catchy axioms that sounds good on its face (e.g. like "if you keep doing the same things, you'll keep getting the same results") but perhaps breaks down on closer inspection. So is a woman also to assume that if a man marries her...he'll marry someone else as well? If a father hits one of his teenage sons, he'll hit the other son, too? Or hit his daughter? If he leaves one job because he's unhappy there, he'll leave his next job as well?

I think we're loading waaaay too many variables into one sweeping statement.
